These projects are the brainchild of many hours of discussion and hard work. Each of these will have a profound positive impact on the industry and all beekeepers futures. These projects are unique to the BeeCAUSE Alliance and not being pursued anywhere else. One of our main projects here is the opening of the border for package bees (no comb) to be shipped to Canada. It is a project we have been working very hard on for over 2 years now.
Uplift is a program designed to support beekeeping as an industry. It is based on the ECAP program, but chosen to be a positive incentive as opposed to a program that only kicks in during problem times.
Our number of cost effective labeled miticides is strictly limited, you should also be aware that even though many of the organics are available at your local hardware for fair prices, such use is strictly prohibited.
